REQUIREMENTS FOR BAPTISM:

1. Original birth certificate of the child.

2. Only children under 7 years of age will be baptized. Those older than 7 will be required to complete pre-baptismal catechism, which lasts for one year. Information must be requested at the Cathedral office.

3. The child's clothing must be white.

REQUIREMENTS FOR GODPARENTS:

1. YES, if you are a couple , you must be married in the Catholic Church and bring proof of the original religious marriage valid for a maximum of 3 months.

2. When the godparent is single , only one is allowed. They must be confirmed and must bring their original confirmation certificate, valid for a maximum of three months. Accompanied godparents and godparents who are civilly married are not allowed.

3. Registration for baptisms must be done Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Registration will not be accepted if complete documentation is not submitted.

4. The baptism offering is $10.00, which must be paid on the day of registration.

BAPTISM SUNDAY.

On Sunday, parents and godparents must arrive at 7:00 am and attend the talk in the crypt ("The Holy Family" hall), then the baptism celebration and the Sunday Mass at 10:00 am.
