REQUIREMENTS FOR MARRIAGE:

1. Original and recent baptismal certificate , issued within the last 3 months, for both him and her.

2. Original and recent confirmation certificate , issued within the last 3 months, for both him and her.

3. Recent birth certificate of the bride and groom.

4. Copy of civil marriage certificate.

5. Proof of premarital talks between both parties.

6. Permission from the parish where the bride and groom reside.

7. Copy of DUI (enlarged to 150%) of witnesses, one witness for each boyfriend, who has known them for at least two to three years.

8. You must submit all this documentation to the cathedral office three months before the wedding .

9. The priest will schedule an appointment to complete the file with two witnesses, one for each bride and groom, who have known each bride for two to three years.

10. The wedding fee is $100 and will be paid upon submission of paperwork.

11. Marriages are performed Monday through Saturday during Mass times of 12 noon or 5 pm.

12. If you wish to schedule a wedding outside of business hours, you can do so Monday through Saturday at 2:00 pm or Saturday at 3:00 pm. This costs $200.00 ; the bride and groom must bring a priest to perform the marriage, readers, altar servers, and choir.
